I met with Taylor Bielecki in her third-floor studio in the Visual Arts Building, on November 2nd, to get a tour and experience her amazing paintings. Taylor, a senior double-majoring in visual arts and English, was named an “Emerging Young Artist” by the VSA Emerging Young Artists Program, a Jean Kennedy Smith Arts and Disability Program, specifically for young artists from the ages of 16-25 with disabilities living in the United States. A number of her paintings have appeared in Kalliope, Penn State’s Undergraduate Literary Magazine, and we thought it would be awesome to feature her and her amazing artwork again in Klio.
