Hi there – I’m Bryan. I’m a sociology major set to graduate this summer. I‘m from Rochester, NY. I’ve written a bunch of songs, but “When We Were Kids” was actually my first co-write. A friend from high school had written a bunch of lyrics and shared them with me, and I decided to put them to music (with some minor tweaks/additions). I think the song is relatable in that it deals with the somewhat sobering reality of growing older and the nostalgia that people sometimes feel for a time when things were (seemingly) less complicated.
